For Boy and Girl Scout Troops and all other non-profit groups into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) and Quetico Provincial Park from Ely, Minnesota.
Canadian Waters, Inc has been arranging high adventure canoe trips for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church groups, and many other non-profit organizations since it opened its doors in 1964. These wilderness canoe trips can take you into either the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) on the US side, or into Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park.
Our files contain the names of several popular non-profit groups that have not only used our services once, but continue to return again year after year. Some of these groups include:
Boy Scout high adventure canoe trips may start from a variety of entry points, accessible either by van or floatplane. Routes can be as long and as difficult as you like, or just an easy fishing/sightseeing trip, complete with terrific small mouth bass and walleye fishing, swimming in crystal clear lakes, the occasional howl of a wolf or call of a loon, and if the conditions are right, even a view of the northern lights!
Our trips are tailored to fit your individual group’s needs. So even if you are not seeking a high adventure trip, just a wilderness getaway, we can help you plan a trip that the young, the old, and anyone in between can enjoy. Keep in mind that although these high adventure canoe trips are a “must do” for Boy Scouts, all non-profit groups can experience a true wilderness adventure all from the seat of a canoe.
