Canoe Area Wilderness are home to a wide variety of fish species, including lake trout, northern pike, walleye, bass and panfish. With minimal gear (a fishing pole, tackle box and bait), you can enjoy some of the Midwest's best fishing and maybe one of your most memorable meals ever. Be sure to obtain a copy of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resource's Hunting and Fishing Regulations, published each year and available wherever fishing licenses are sold.
