2010 BWCA Canoe Trip Rates

2010 Individual Rates (per person)

• Deposit required: $100.00 per person
• Children age 13 through 17: Deduct 25% from the above rates
  
  • Subject to the following restrictions:
    
    1. Outfitting provided on the basis of one child at 25% off with each paying adult. (Minimum 2 adults)
    2. No other discounts apply to this offer


• Solo Trips: Add 25% to the above rates


• Parties of 6 or more persons: Deduct 10% from the above rates (not applicable to children's rates)


• Spring and Fall special: Deduct 10% from above rates for trips of 5 days or more, starting in May or September


• Maximum combined discount cannot exceed 25%

Kids age 12 and under Outfitted Free!

1. This offer is limited to children age 12 and under when accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian(s)


2. Outfitting type will be the same as provided to the parent(s) or legal guardian(s)


3. Outfitting will be provided on the basis of one child free with each paying parent or legal guardian (a minimum of 2 adults in the party)


4. Other discounts do not apply to this offer


5. We reserve the right to request a copy of a child's Birth Certificate for proof of age

Round Trip Fly-in Canoe Trips

• You may start your trip on any day of the week


• Deposit required: $150.00 per person


• Rate is based on a minimum of 2 adults


• Deduct $50.00 per person for 5 & 6 day trips beginning
  on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.


• Deduct $75.00 per person for 7 day trips beginning on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Fly-in/Paddle-Out Canoe Trips

• You may start your trip on any day of the week


• Deposit required: $125.00 per person


• Rate based on minimum of 2 adults


• Deduct $50.00 per person for 5 & 6 day trips beginning
  on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.


• Deduct $75.00 per person for 7 day trips beginning on Tuesday,
  Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Fly-in Boat & Motor Fishing Trips to Three Mile Lake

• Deposit required: $150.00 per person.


• Rate is based on a minimum of 2 adults


• Campbell's Cabin option: Add approximately $75 per person for one night of lodging (includes dinner and breakfast).

7 Day One Way Fly-In Trip - Clay Lake

• Deposit required: $150.00 per person.


• Rate is based on a minimum of 4 adults


• Parties of 2 or 3 persons please call for special rate quote.

• For flyin parties of 2 & 3 persons to Beaverhouse, add $175.00 per person to the published rate.


• For fly-in parties to Three Mile Lake, we use aluminum canoes.


• Fly-in rates are based on fuel costs and the rate of exchange for the Canadian dollar. A surcharge of no more than $25.00 per person may be added if there is a substantial change in fuel costs and the exchange rate.

"Super Saver" Canoe Trip Package

• Deposit required: $100 per person.


• Subject to the following restrictions:
  
  1. Your 5 day trip must start on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and be a 5 day 4 night canoe trip
  
  
  2. Your 7 day trip must start on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and be a 7 day, 6 night canoe trip
  
  
  3. You must have a minimum of 2 adults in your party
  
  
  4. No other discounts apply to these packages
  
  

5 & 7 Day Kayak Adventures

These trips begin on either Moose Lake or Fall Lake, and go
into Basswood Lake. With a mechanical portage at Prairie Portage
and the use of portage wheels at the portages between Fall
Lake and Pipestone Bay, this is an ideal area for kayaks. Cruise
Basswood Lake on the U.S. or Canadian side. You can base camp
or move your camp each day. Basswood is large enough to move
every day and still not see all of the lake. We provide our
Complete Supreme Outfitting with these packages and you can
choose between solo or tandem kayaks.

• Deposit required: $100 per person.

Food and Canoe Packages

These packages are designed for those people who have most
of their own camping equipment but don't want the hassle of
packing food and hauling a canoe.

• Deposit required: $50 per person.


• Subject to the following restrictions:
  
  1. Rate based on a minimum of 2 persons
  
  
  2. No children's rate is avaliable for this package.
  
  
  3. Transportation is NOT included in this package.
  
  

GlobalStar Satellite Phones

Going on a canoe trip no longer means you have to be cut off
from the rest of the world. We now offer satellite communications
with Globalstar phones. This phone will work anywhere in the
Boundary Waters Canoes Area and the Quetico Provincial Park.
So if you have a need to be in contact with someone while you are
on a canoe trip, of if you just want the "peace of mind" to
know that your safety and security are just a phone call away,
this phone is for you.

Globalstar Satellite Phone: $25.00 per day or $100.00
per week. Usage fee: $3.00 per minute.

What we include with INDIVIDUAL Complete Outfitting

Please note that we do not include any Ponchos
or plastic water bottles with any package.
